PBO Volunteer Program: A Transformative Force for the Future In 2009, the PBO Volunteer Program was created with the purpose of strengthening all our initiatives, especially those focused on children's learning and the development of PBO programs. This program aims to bring together people with a strong vocation for service and social commitment, who seek to actively collaborate to transform the lives of those most in need and contribute to building a more just and equitable society.
Through this program, volunteers play a key role in the implementation and success of our projects. Their selfless support not only benefits children but also strengthens the work of all PBO programs, enriching the educational and social development experiences we provide to communities. Volunteers bring with them a wide variety of skills, perspectives, and knowledge that are fundamental to the growth of the organization and the people we serve.
Since its implementation in 2009, the PBO Volunteer Program has had the participation of more than 4,206 volunteers. Each of these individuals has left a significant mark, not only through their practical efforts but also by inspiring others to join the cause. These volunteers, from both local and international backgrounds, have dedicated their time and effort to supporting children in their educational process, promoting recreational activities, collaborating in the organization of events and workshops, and providing assistance in various areas such as medical care, psychological counseling, professional training, and community project development.
In addition, the PBO Volunteer Program fosters a culture of solidarity that extends beyond direct services, creating a support network where the well-being of people and the strengthening of communities are prioritized. By working alongside volunteers, we have been able to expand our capacity for action, broaden our services, and, above all, improve the lives of those who need it most.
This program has proven to be a true engine of change, positively impacting both volunteers and beneficiaries. We are proud to have such a diverse and committed community that shares the vision of a fairer and more supportive future. The participation of each volunteer reinforces our belief that, together, we can generate real and lasting change.
