TEDx La Romana

TEDxLaRomana was a pioneering event held for the first time in La Romana, Dominican Republic, at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater on October 23, 2021. Organized by the Patronato Benéfico Oriental, it brought together 10 outstanding international speakers who shared their transformative stories and experiences under the theme 'Life as Movement and Shared Prosperity'. Attendees experienced a unique journey of personal and collective growth, exploring topics such as sustainable fashion, coral reef restoration, robotics, and the impact of creativity on children's development.

In addition to the conferences, the event offered special workshops, yoga sessions, meditation, tree planting, coding and robotics experiments, and activities for the whole family, creating an immersive cultural and environmental experience.
